The Fall Creek Golf Club is a beautiful publicly owned golf course right in the middle of Pendleton. Because it’s owned by the city, green fees are very affordable, and because it’s wildly popular, it’s a fantastic place to meet up with friends or invite your family to join you for a round.
An18-hole course a part of Falls Park, the Fall Creek Golf Club is open seven days a week. Weekday rates are lower ($8 on Mondays, $10 Tuesday – Fridays) than weekend rates ($20). There are special rates for seniors over 65, as well as juniors, 18 years and younger.
You can also play 9 holes for less – perfect for families. There is also a driving range, providing a place for novices and pros to practice.
Fall Creek Golf Club was originally called the Idlewold Country Club when it first opened in 1920 with just nine holes. The Town of Pendleton purchased the golf course in 2008, and the name was changed to Fall Creek Golf Club.
There is a Pro Shop on premises with a full line of clubs, golf balls, clothing, and anything else you might need for a day on the links. There is also a casual Club House with a fully stocked snack bar and a relaxing atmosphere.
